General Description

R9411

REPULPABLE DOUBLE COATED FLYING SPLICE TAPE

 
Repulpable double-coated tape R9411 consists of a non-woven tissue carrier, saturated with a water-soluble pressure sensitive adhesive.  This is an ideal product for automatic flying splices of most grades of papers.
Features
  • Reduced adhesive thickness with extremely high tack resulting in excellent splicing properties, even in humid environments.
  • A high temperature resistance of more than 200°C/392°F, keeps the splice intact during the drying process.
  • Tape resists humidity for a limited period of time, though it's repulpable characteristics. Versatile through a range of environmental condidtions
  • Completely repulpable (release liner degrades fully into cellulose fibers). Low cationic demand.
  • Rigid siliconised liner allows easy tearing of the excess paper in the splice area.
  • Passes repulpability test by TAPPI Method UM213.
  • Hermetically sealed in plastic bads to maintain constant moisture content
